Building community is one of the roles I most value as a musician.
I strive to foster community among my fellow musicians to dismantle the feeling of isolation. Creating community between musicians and our audiences is equally important to me, and I aim to listen to my audiences as deeply as I hope for my music to be listened to. I love sharing excitement in music, and hope to connect with you soon.

Here are some examples of my current community building endeavors:

TEACHING

Music’s greatest gift is to provide a common ground for human curiosity between people that otherwise would never meet. I have been teaching piano and sharing music since 2010 in order to further the pursuit of this gift.

My teaching experience includes:

  • Private in home or online lessons

  • Individual/group lessons at New England Conservatory

  • Group lessons at Boston University

  • Private instructor at Page Music Lessons

  • Private instructor with Instrumentor

Boston text & tone FESTIVAL

Bringing together a community of singers, pianists, poets, composers, mentors and audience members that naturally formed around the world of song, the Boston Text & Tone Festival is celebrating its inaugural year in 2024.

Community Studio Class

I believe passionately in cultivating “in between spaces” for musicians and audiences. Places between the practice room and the stage or between your living room and the concert hall seats. In both Basel and Boston, I worked with my colleagues and local organizations to found regular meet-ups for musicians to play for each other in casual spaces.
